国立政治大学地政学系征聘空间资讯专长并兼具地理人工智能(Geo-AI)应用、永续发展与治理、空间数据于环境变迁侦测等领域之一专长的专任教师一名

求才内容：助理教授(含)以上(限具博士学位者)

 

每学年教授大学部「大地测量学」、「几何大地」及自订一门与领域相关课程，其中至少一门须以英文授课。此外，教授一门硕博班课程「应用地理人工智能 (Geo-AI) 于永续发展」应以英文授课。

Faculty Position in Geomatics Program
National Chengchi University, Taiwan, R.O.C.

Position Overview

The Department of Land Economics at National Chengchi University invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. We seek an accomplished scholar with demonstrated expertise in spatial information sciences and specialization in one of the following areas:

●       Geo-AI applications

●       Sustainable development with emphasis on governance

●       Spatial data analysis for environmental change detection

Teaching Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to teach the following courses annually:

●       On the Undergraduate Level: (1) Geodesy, (2) Geometric Geodesy, (3) one elective course in the candidate's area of expertise. At least one undergraduate course must be delivered in English.

●       On the Graduate Level: Applied Geo-AI for Sustainable Development (taught in English).

Application Requirements

Candidates must submit the following materials as digital copies in PDF format:

1. curriculum vitae, including a complete list of publications and academic achievements,

2. the candidate's most significant scholarly publications,

3. doctoral dissertation / PhD thesis,

4. official certificate of the highest degree earned,

5. official transcripts for master's and doctoral degrees,

6. two letters of recommendation,

7. teaching certificate issued by the Taiwan Ministry of Education, R.O.C. (if available at time of application).

For applicants who hold a degree from overseas, the degree certificates and official transcript for the doctoral degree need to be verified by the R.O.C.’s embassies and missions overseas in accordance with the resolution of the university’s committee for teacher evaluation.

Selection Process

Candidates who successfully pass the initial review will be invited for an interview. Selected candidates will be required to prepare presentations on the following topics:

●       Research highlights of the candidate's scholarly work,

●       Proposed pedagogical approach and course planning.

●       Application deadline: September 15, 2025, by email (materials exceeding 25 MB may be submitted in multiple batches)

●       Anticipated start date: August 1, 2026 (with possibility of earlier commencement on February 1, 2026)
